Oval shaped beads in pink ivory (Berchemia zeyheri) Perhaps one of the most striking naturally colored woods, pink ivory is prized for its pronounced pink hue, formidable hardness and its ability to take a brilliant lustre. In this piece I have combined it with stylized floral motifs, engraved into components made from solid fossilized mammothtusk (Mammuthus primigenius) from the arctic regions.
